In Scotland, Sue Beveridge, an artist and our long-term Crumbassador, who underwent training in our methods at the Sofia Bread House years ago, was recently invited to cooperate with Alzheimer Scotland to offer Bread Therapy sessions for dementia patients. Between lockdowns, she also did a week-long workshop in Ayr in Scotland between lockdowns, and “the response was fantastic!”, as Sue notes. She adds to Bread Therapy her own artistic spin as a sculptor, engaging participants to create “dough fists”, each one unique in shape and expression.
In the USA, in August of 2022, Maya Georgieva organized a Bread Therapy teambuilding for three amazing women working for the Messiah Lifeways program, supporting elderly people in finding hope and meaning through faith; find more about them there:

This is what one of them, pastor Evie, the Program Director, shared after the session:
“This experience was just the right mix of fun, relaxation, and bonding for us. Thank you so much!” Evie and her team are currently exploring ways to incorporate Bread Therapy in the senior center programs they manage.
In Bulgaria, we also continue supporting elderly by helping them re-integrate in society (by mixing them with young families and orphans) in the cities of Varna, Sofia, and Gabrovo.
