BREAD THERAPY FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE

Soft dough, hot bread, aroma of bread. Memories, memories, memories … This activity brought me back many years ago, when I was a little girl and leaning on my fists on the bread trough, watched my mother and grandmother while they were bread-kneading. They made a lot of bread, almost for the whole week.”

This activity awakened the child again in me. I was experiencing pleasant emotions, now I feel closer to the others in the center.”
