- 5, 10, 20, 30
This is an ice-breaking game and for hands warming up.
Number of participants: 8 – 15 +
Length: 5-10 min
The participants move freely around the space until the facilitator gives a sign 5. Every participant finds a companion and gives him/her “5” – clapping lightly each others’ hand (a high five). After that participants continue moving around the space. The facilitator gives a sign “10” – every participant finds a companion and claps both of their hands with the other. “20” is slapping the palms both hands on top and then bottom. “30” is clapping with hands 3 times – individually.
The facilitator can just not follow the order of 5,10, 20, 30. It is recommended that the numbers to be told in a different order. This is an approach that increases the particpants’ attention so that they can follow which activity they need to do. The game is loud and funny.
